El primer ministro húngaro, Viktor Orban, había logrado impedir la unanimidad necesaria para aprobar ese paquete... para obtener en retorno el desembolso de los fondos europeos que le corresponden a su país y que la UE ha bloqueado por dudas sobre la vigencia del Estado de Derecho.
El ministro de Asuntos Exteriores ucraniano, Dmytro Kuleba, no se anda con rodeos. Hay un elemento que su país necesita desesperadamente para defenderse de los incesantes ataques con misiles de Rusia. "Denos los putos Patriots", exigió. Originarios de Estados Unidos, los misiles tierra-aire Patriot son el mejor sistema de defensa para combatir los misiles balísticos que han estado lloviendo sobre Ucrania con creciente intensidad en los últimos días.
El presidente de Rusia, Vladímir Putin, ha calificado de "decepcionantes" las declaraciones de la excanciller alemana Angela Merkel, quien afirmó recientemente que los Acuerdos de Minsk de 2015 fueron "un intento de dar tiempo a Ucrania". Putin: "La idea radicaba solamente en llenar a Ucrania con armas y prepararla para los combates. Lo vemos, quizá nos dimos cuenta con retraso. "A lo mejor habría que iniciar todo esto antes . Simplemente esperábamos que hubiéramos podido ponernos de acuerdo en el marco de los Acuerdos de Minsk", subrayó.
En Berlín, 110 residentes de un hogar de ancianos fueron expulsados sorpresivamente. Los operadores y propietarios pertenecen a Berlin Diakonie como instituciones eclesiásticas. Los refugiados ahora se alojan en el edificio, que es mucho más lucrativo que el cuidado de ancianos debido a los subsidios públicos.

"Aunque agradecemos toda la atención, nos gustaría recordarles humildemente que si escucháramos lo que dicen los no ucranianos en febrero de 2022, ya no existiríamos".
La negociación podría incluir "incentivos para poner fin a las hostilidades y reunir a la comunidad internacional para fijar garantías para una Ucrania libre e independiente". Treinta congresistas demócratas han pedido al presidente de EEUU, Joe Biden, que abandone su silencio y haga un acercamiento directo a Rusia y hable con Vladimir Putin para buscar el alto el fuego en la guerra de Ucrania. A través de una carta enviada al mandatario los signatarios señalan que la "destrucción" provocada por este conflicto desde el inicio...
